Scotland holds the distinction of being Home to the Game of Golf and to Scotch Whisky. Both are iconic to Scotland and both are globally recognised as belonging to Scotland.
From the famous links of St. Andrews, Turnberry and Dornoch to the hidden gems of Boat of Garten, Pitlochry and Golspie, there is an abundance of wonderful courses in regions all over Scotland to choose from.
As with golf, whisky can be found in many regions of Scotland from the “Peat Monsters of Islay” in the South West to the “Premier Cru” of Scotch Single Malts from Speyside.
We have brought the two icons of Scotland together to offer some interesting “Golf & Whisky Tours” which will include some of the lesser known golf courses but will include visits to distilleries and tastings of some very famous whisky brands looking that are “Destination Specific” to your chosen tour.
Some of the golf courses we use on these tours are classic links courses, some are 9 hole masterpieces (don’t be put off by 9 hole courses) and some are hidden gems.
We can also design your own bespoke tour to suit your whisky taste buds and choice of golf course.
On your tour you will be accompanied by a “Whisky Ambassador” who will share his or her knowledge and stories with you whilst at the same time making the tour an experience you will never forget. To enhance your whisky experience we can arrange the following:
- Distillery visits of your choice
- Distillery visits close to the golf courses you choose to play
- Whisky tastings
- Whisky tasting dinners
- Whisky masterclasses hosted by our appointed Whisky Ambassadors
- Opportunities to purchase some very specialist Whiskies
